A private, exotic, wildlife rescue organization that currently cares for over 200 animals!
Did you Know?
What is SAFARIS SANCTUARY?
The Tails and Tornadoes Fur Con official charity, Safari’s Sanctuary (501c(3)) is located in Broken Arrow, OK.
Since 1995, the mission of the organization is to provide a safe, “forever home” to discarded exotic animals. With over 200 animals from a wide range of species such as tigers, lions, bobcats, birds, and even reptiles! Owned and operated by Lori and Stacy Scroggins, the sanctuary is managed by volunteers of various ages and backgrounds. Each animal at the sanctuary has a story, and the goal is to educate the public about these stories to prevent future rescues from occurring. Although the park is not currently open to the public, they do offer a mobile experience known as “Zoo 2 You” which allows for an educational experience at virtually any location. Safari’s Sanctuary relies on the generosity of the public and local businesses to continue operating. All donations to the organization are 100% tax-deductible.
